MANHATTAN SHORT will be held between September 25 and October 5, 2025 at over 500 venues across six continents. One of them will meet the audience in Istanbul at only the Beyoğlu Cine Majestic cinemas.
The 28th Short Film Festival has announced its ten finalists. This festival, the only one of its kind in the world in this format, will bring the finalist films to film lovers simultaneously for one week. The Best Film and Best Actor awards will be determined by audience votes at each participating venue.
The ten finalist films come from seven different countries: one film each from Spain, Israel, the United Kingdom, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Mexico; and three films from the USA.
The festival’s founding director, Nicholas Mason, said:
“These ten short films bring a much-needed positive energy to the world!”
MANHATTAN SHORT, 25 Eylül – 5 Ekim 2025 tarihleri arasında altı kıtada 500’den fazla mekânda gerçekleştirilecek.Bunlardan biri ise İstanbul’da Sadece Beyoğlu Cine Majestic sinemalarında izleyici ile buluşacak.
28. Kısa Film Festivali’nin on finalistini açıkladı. Dünyada bu formatta tek olan festival, finalist filmleri bir hafta boyunca eş zamanlı olarak sinemaseverlerle buluşturacak. En İyi Film ve En İyi Oyuncu ödülleri, her katılımcı mekânda izleyicilerin oylarıyla belirlenecek.
On finalist film, yedi farklı ülkeden geliyor: İspanya, İsrail, Birleşik Krallık, Norveç, Hollanda, Belçika ve Meksika’dan birer film, ABD’den ise üç film finale kaldı.
Festivalin kurucu direktörü Nicholas Mason şunları söyledi:
“Bu on kısa film, dünyaya çok ihtiyaç duyulan olumlu bir enerji getiriyor!”
